PeachPay has a test mode that allows you to make test payments for all your payment methods. With test mode, you can ensure your checkout and payments are working correctly without spending real money.
When to use test mode
You're setting up a new store, and you want to try the checkout flow before going live.
You have an existing store, and you want to try PeachPay first before showing our payment methods to customers.
You created a custom thank you page and wish to see how it looks.
Note: You should not turn on test mode if your store is live and you have customers browsing, and PeachPay's payment methods are the only ones available, because they will be hidden from customers.
What test mode will do
Express Checkout buttons will only be visible to logged-in admins.
PeachPay payment methods in the WooCommerce checkout page will only be visible to logged-in admins.
Payment provider accounts will switch to either a test mode, if supported like for Stripe, or will allow connecting a sandbox account like for Square.
Turning on test mode
To turn on test mode, navigate to any of the payment settings in PeachPay, and turn the switch for Enable test mode to on. Click Save changes.
Note for all payment providers
For Stripe and any other payment provider. You must be logged in as an admin to see the payment methods in the checkout while in test mode.
Making a test purchase with Stripe
Connect a Stripe account and switch PeachPay to test mode.
Enable the desired payment methods.
Proceed through the checkout.
For testing card payments, check the list of Stripe test cards.

Switch PeachPay to test mode.
Proceed through the checkout.
For card payments, refer to the list of Square test cards.
Making a test purchase with PayPal
At the moment, you cannot connect your own PayPal sandbox account.
Switch PeachPay to test mode.
Proceed through the checkout.
